2010 Track Day Rules

Rider Gear Requirements:
  • Riders must have full leathers (two-piece that zip into one is acceptable).
  • Back protectors are required. They must be hard shell, sanctioned race org. approved, i.e. Dainese, Knox, Bohn, etc.
  • Motorcycle boots (race style).
  • Gauntlet race gloves.
  • Helmet: Snell, BSI, ECE OR DOT approved helmet. Helmets with any visible crash damage will be rejected. If your helmet does not pass tech, you will not be allowed to ride.

Bike Tech Requirements:

  • Throttle must snap back to closed.
  • Bikes must have oil filter secured by a secondary means (hose clamp, safety wire, etc).
  • Remove or tape mirrors
  • Brake lights must not show (remove bulb or fuse or at the very least use duct tape to cover lens).
  • Tires must be in excellent condition, if not new.
  • Brake pads need to have 50% or more life.
  • All valve stems must have caps.
  • License plates must be removed completely.
  • Chain should be properly adjusted, lubed and in overall good condition.

Ultimately the responsibility for safety is on you, the rider. Make sure that you, your gear and your bike are ready for the track. We reserve the right to turn anyone away whose bike or gear does not meet the above requirements.  We will make every effort to help you pass tech and get on the track. However, it is your responsibility to meet these basic requirements.
